Holograph letter from Wilberforce to Sir James Stephen asking him to help further the career of Mr. Fane, M.P. for Oxfordshire. A second letter from Sir Reginald Coupland, Wilberforce's biographer, explaining the background of a Wilberforce letter to his publishers written in 1807. Both letters are tipped in Wilberforce's book, a letter on the abolition of The slave trade (1807).
